Why do vehicles like this SkyCar and M200G create so much excitement?
Using a power system to levitate a vehicle is always going to be difficult and expensive. Looking at the video of the M200G, it looks prone do side winds and gusts leaving it with poor fine manoeuvring control. I don't think I'd like to parallel land one of these!
It's boring but true that fixed wing aircraft are so much more efficient for air travel and that cars are so much more efficient for ground travel.
I wonder what sort of MPG would get!
