There's a great rumpus over the presence of 'Tycoon Owen Oyston' at a recent Labour Party fund raising event held by Gordon Brown.
From the article
"Tycoon Owen Oyston, convicted in 1996 for raping a 16-year-old girl, is understood to have paid £10,000 for a table at the Wembley Stadium event.
The prime minister has asked party officials to investigate and said no money should be accepted from him."
The Labour Party seem quote happy that Oyston has served his time and can be released back into society to mingle with the general public but not happy for him to mingle with them.
If it's acceptable form Oyston to mingle with us then he should acceptable from him to mingle with the Labour Party. Likeweise, if it's unacceptable for Oyston to mingle with the Labour Party it should be unacceptable for him to mingle in society.
