Wal-Mart have backed down on their decision to shutdown their music shop's DRM servers due to protests by consumers.
I guess Wal-Mart will have to continue to run the servers with no revenue stream - they now sell DRM-free MP3s - until very few requests come through to the DRM servers.
I wonder how long that will take and what constitutes very few.
