This BBC news article talks about the Manchester Baby computer and the people who built and programmed it.
One paragraph states "The first program was written by the late Tom Kilburn to work out the highest factor of a prime number."
That's not exactly a hard thing to do given the definition of a prime number.
Earlier on in the article this is written:
"Using just 128 bytes of memory, it successfully ran its first set of instructions - to determine the highest factor of a number - on 21 June 1948."
and later this
"Because of the limitations of the display the team tested the machine using prime numbers."
so something has gone wrong in the editing.
