Eurostar Train Joy

The BBC reports that "More than 2,000 people were trapped inside the Channel Tunnel for hours after five trains suffered electrical failure due to freezing conditions."

My bet is that trains that got cold running through Northern France went into the, by comparison, warm and wet tunnels and a lot of water condensed out inside parts of the train where it should not be.

In fact the article quotes the chief of Eurostar : 'He said the five trains, which were coming from Brussels and Paris, failed because of the "very, very cold temperatures" outside and the "warm, humid" conditions inside the tunnel.'
