Scottish independence is currently a hot topic.
The SNP are complaining about Westminster interfering in what they see as a Scottish matter.

I think there's a mix of matters here:
- Keeping the status quo is easy. Nothing changes to there's nothing to discuss. This is not what the SNP want.
- Full independence for Scotland is easy. Scotland goes it's own way as a separate nation with it's own government, currency, tax, public services, defence, foreign policy etc. Is see this as a purely Scottish matter. A people are entitled to self determination and if they chose to separate then that's their decision. I suspect this is what the SNP want but it seems most Scotts voters don't.
- Devo-max is where I see things being a shared matter. Devo-max is different to the current devolution and requires negotiation between the parties making it a matter for both governments. I suspect this is what most Scotts voters want but the SNP does not.
