The Independent has this article on 4K TV and the wonderful picture they display. That's all very nice but I just don't watch that much TV. Most of what I do watch is on iPlayer.
We're happy enough with our 32" Sony widescreen CRT TV, Freeview and a Series 1 TiVo.
I've never been a fan of 3D in the cinema or at home. I think that the 3D effect is real life is surprisingly subtle and the compromises made to get 3D work in cinemas and domestic TVs are not worth it.
Anyway, back to the internet and iPlayer.
