Now that support & updates for Windows XP has ended here's one of the first general Windows IE flaw's that almost certainly exists in Windows XP but won't be patched. The flaw is for IE versions 6 to 11 and versions 6 to 8 can be installed on Windows XP.
As flaws are found (and hopefully fixed) in later versions of Windows, XP will be examined to see if it has the same flaw and attacked launched on XP.
So, while the end of support & updates for XP does not mean that XP no longer works, it does mean XP will become increasingly vulnerable to Internet black hacking.
