A large part of the Yes campaign attraction seems to be the idea that once the shackles of Westminster and the 'English' Banks are thrown off that an independent Scotland will be a land of milk, honey, free NHS, free University, amazing social services etc. etc.
Unfortunately independence from Westminster and 'English' Banks won't bring independence from the laws of economics.
There seems to be a view that Westminster is holding Scotland bank. If Westminster really did have some magic economic levers and buttons enabling the Union to rise above the laws of economics they'd have pulled and pushed them a long long time ago.
An independent Scotland is going to face the same world economic situation that it did when part of the Union and without the strength and support that being part of the Union provides.
