Prime Air is a not going to be practical.

Amazon Prime Air sounds really exciting but I think it will go the way of flying cars, mono-wheels, mono-rails and mag-lev trains.

The basic problems I see include

1. weather - wind, rain, snow etc will limit operations
2. theft - a ball on a string and you've got a random package
3. liability - when one of the delivery drones falls out of the sky
