Caveat Lector or Emptor or Venditor?

Caveat Emptor - let the buyer beware is a common enough phrase with its own Wikipedia entry.

Caveat Venditor - let the seller beware is less common and has a sub-entry on the Caveat Emptor Wikipedia entry. The sub-entry even has a source.

Caveat Lector - let the reader beware is, perhaps, even less common. It too has a sub-entry on the Caveat Emptor Wikipedia entry which describes it as latin for "let the reader beware" but also has a "citation needed" tag.

What do I mean by 'Caveat Lector'? Well, dear reader, just be aware that this is on man's blog and by no means authoritative. I could still be right though...
